TW gastroparesis & chew and spitting
Does anyone out there with gastroparesis chew and spit? I have been thinking of doing it because I really miss foods like raw veggies but my broken belly just can’t digest anything but liquids or soft foods. I know its kind of sick, I’d just like to hear what other GPers think about it or am I all alone?
I do it very occasionally. Only with my favorite foods. Be warned if you do it too much you could swallow by accident, or else your body could become convinced you are eating for real, and start becoming nauseated just from that.
(Note I’m 100% tube fed.)
