Max with his DIY cooling vest (by urocyonctake2)
He was certainly eager to go for an evening walk once I got the vest on him. Complete with some of the trademark weird Staffie noises. ;) I didn’t let the video run too long, because I felt mean not getting his harness.
I felt kind of bad because it was still too hot for him with the vest, and he was flagging pretty badly by the time we got halfway along the walk. And his arthritic hip started acting up.
But, we got home OK and he got water service where he flopped in the hall, plus a sausage roll with some aspirin.
