I’ve got this substitute staff person who always comes in here and makes suggestions. Suggestions is too mild. Demands.

She basically suggests something. And if I say no it’s okay, she argues. And argues. And argues. And won’t take no for a fucking answer.

She always seems to think that…

Urg :( I would say you’d be better off without her, but you can’t know if her replacement wouldn’t be even worse.

I have one who doesn’t get the simplest things. I have 45 minutes in the morning to get ready. It’s that long because I need to take it relatively slowly and rest between washing, getting dressed and so on. I’ve told this care worker so many times to slow down but even now she continues to rush. She also talks to me differently depending on whether I’m speaking or typing. And she’s one of the better care workers I’ve had from the agency.

*Squishes* I wish there was some easy way to get it through to her that you know what you’re doing because you’re the one who lives it.

Yeah in this case there literally is nobody else.

They have to be trained in medication. And they have to be trained in how to use a feeding tube.

And that seriously limits who is allowed to be here.
