The murder of a 14-year-old nonverbal autistic boy, Alex Spourdalakis, has made national news. It didn’t make national news because his mother and godmother, by their own admission, killed him…

Yes. It was a hate crime. Unequivocally. 

(Took out the graphic description of what happened.)  Yes definitely a hate crime.  Hate doesn’t always sound the same or use the same words.

FFS that that is even in question shows the level of hate for disabled ppl.

Yeah. Seriously. People are like “it wasn’t a hate crime! No one hates disabled people! It’s just that they’re a terrible awful burden and killing them is completely understandable".
