soilrockslove: reptiglo: Couch’s Spadefoot Toad, Scaphiopus couchii, male and female by Bill Bouton on Flickr. A bunch of these little guys are making noise outside right now. ^_^ They actually hibernate underground for most of the year until the Monsoon (summer rainy) season.  I’ve been seeing a lot of them this past week.
