meh i was reading thru the lupus tag & i don’t know why but that post with the list of things about ‘loving someone with a chronic illness’ really rubbed me the wrong way but i can’t articulate why.

I agree with what the other person said. People rush to support caregivers and family for the ~really rough job they have~, but don’t support us in the same way. Even though chronically ill people are, for instance, the ones having to MAKE our own funeral plans, not just having to listen to someone else’s.
