My calculus professor has decided that if I don’t give him medical proof I was sick he’s going to drop me from the class. What a dick.

He made me come to his office after class and then asked me why I was absent; his exact words: “Let’s hear your excuse first.“ I told him I have a chronic illness…

Barfing on or in front of him sounds tempting.

I mean seriously I would halfway be tempted to attend classes I’m too sick to attend, and bring a barf bucket, and sit there in class taking notes and barfing and trying to keep taking notes and barfing and seeing how long it takes for him to INSIST you take a medical absence.

Also works for other illnesses that cause spectacular reactions, like passing out or massive asthma attacks or nasty coughing fits.

Seriously I am not joking when I say I’d consider this. He deserves to see why you are not in class some days, and deal with the consequences of demanding a sick person attend class.

  6. universe93 said: some teachers are just dicks. it’s possible however he has people higher up saying he has to get proof from students for absences. complain to someone higher up in your faculty as this is definitely stuff outside of your control!
