Abstract often means “stuff I think you’re too stupid to understand. So I don’t have to explain it or make any effort to make it comprehensible”.

Structure often means “I’m going…

Concrete to me means stuff that’s close to reality. The physical reality of the actual world. And any thinking and perception that runs closer to that physical reality.

Abstract means any sort of thinking that, through being an idea, is farther from that physical reality. All words are abstractions by definition. Cat is an abstract word. But it’s less abstract than the word existentialism. Post modernist writing is so full of extreme abstractions that I find it impossible to follow.

And just because some people use those words in insulting ways, doesn’t mean they don’t have actual genuine meanings.
