The airconditioner spilled last week- the humidity was really high, so the water it sucked out of the air overflowed everywhere while I slept.

Initially it was rediculous. Then it smelled like cat pee. presumably because of the last tenant’s cats. Then, I swear, it smelled like Durian fruit….

My air conditioner smelled like cat piss until we drained it recently. I have no idea why.

    The air conditioners usually suck moisture out of the air, and you have (adorable) kitties*. So maybe the evaporating...
  2. bittergrapes said: Carpet deodorizer works really well on stuff like that - they make special blends for pet stains that really do get rid of the smell (we have an older dog who struggles with bladder control and has accidents in the house).
