Regarding sleep hygiene, I first heard it from a shrink but I think it’s a sleep doctor term? But sleep medicine is often seen as part of psychiatry.
Another technical term for it is zeitgeber. A cue that people use to form their sleep wake cycle.
(Hence, one of my sleep disorders is sometimes known as “disregard of zeitgeber”. In other words sleep hygiene has little to no effect. Only thing that works for me is meds.)
Oh other hilarious thing that happened. I told someone online which sleep disorder I have.
They said “oh that only happens to people with neurological impairments, you can’t have that”.
Well let’s see. Is strongly linked to both autism and Parkinson. I have autism. I have a Parkinson like motor condition. I have lots of other neurological problems. How many is enough for you? ? ?
