Oh btw I’ve encountered people who see the rules and think they are real and become very obnoxious about it.

“Your therapist violated confidentiality? You must have told them something that they were legally required to report.”

“Institutionalized against your will? You must have been a danger to yourself or others.”

“Put in restraints? Must’ve been violent.”

When actually I’ve been locked up for walking in public and being autistic. They’ve violated my confidentiality for no reason at all.

And best of all…

I’ve been restrained for being catatonic.

Tied down so I couldn’t move. Because I couldn’t move.

Could. Not. Make. This. Up.
