Powerful PBS video clip on the Capitol Crawl, the 1990 direct action that made Congress pass the ADA. The ADA was signed into law 23 years ago today. 

Hey, when you want to use the word inspiring with disabled people, the disabled people who did this, are fucking inspiring. And that girl in the video, “I’ll take all night if I have to!“ Damn girl you are awesome.

Also, chaining power chairs together and telling the cops to just *try* and move you.  Awesome.
