Apparently it’s a bad idea to rip the ingrown part of your fingernail out with your teeth.

Of course if I’d known how far down it went if have planned it differently…

It felt like just this second layer of fingernail under my fingernail.

So I separated the layers, ripped off the top layer, grabbed the bottom layer with my teeth, and pulled.

And it… wow. It was much… longer… than I expected. And now I’m bleeding.
