 Queens sixth-graders no longer must read racy

my take: “Diary of a Part-Time Indian" is NOT a racy book at all, and actually quite authentic for young teenaged boys going through puberty and identity crisis issues. I think these assholes are just looking for an excuse to ban more POC/Native narratives from their school.

Yeah I’ve read it and I don’t even remember that part. That’s how little it mattered.
