My stomach is literally hurting so badly tonight I’m in tears. And to add to the fun, I’m extremely nauseous and probably going to throw up.

I hate this.

I also do not want to hook up and do my tube feeding tonight because of how I feel physically AND mentally.

There’s not enough Zofran and Klonopin in the world for this.

I’m still shocked when doctors prescribe only one or two nausea meds for GP.

I mean for years for me it was just Zofran and Reglan. Sometimes worked, sometimes didn’t.

But the only thing that got me out if the hospital this fall was a combination of six. Five wasn’t enough. The last one did the trick.

Phenergan suppositories. Zofran mouth melting tablets. Reglan. Benadryl. Ativan. Marinol. The last four go into my feeding tube.

Of course two meds aren’t enough. Five weren’t enough for me. But on six, plus the ability to drain my stomach through my g tube part of my GJ tube… I’m always nauseated but rarely vomit.

But it really takes ALL of those things.

Six meds.

Feeding and meds by j tube.

Ability to drain my stomach by g t tube.

Remove even one of those things and I’d be in the hospital.

I can’t understand why so many doctors under medicate gastroparesis patients.
