I was talking to my friend Cierra for the past couple days who has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and she is convinced that I might have it. A lot of the symptoms overlap with Fibromyalgia symptoms. But I still have some unexplainable symptoms. Whenever I move, I crack/pop a joint. It makes a loud sound….
Look into hypermobility syndrome too. I think there’s a version of the criteria where your number of flexible joints is very low but your pain and other symptoms are very high. Also not all flexible joints you might have are included in that test.
I am diagnosed with hypermobility syndrome.
I think it’s still in the air whether HMS is a version of EDS.

aninkyaffair answered: Its worth going to see a doc, not all types of EDS have hypermobility as a symptom, and symptoms can be on a scale too - some bad, some not.
