clatterbane: Our first batch of green beans that I just picked.  ;) Kind of pathetic, but with limited space we’ve only got three plants going. They should be a good addition to a stir fry or something, at least.  There are a lot more pods forming now, and keeping them picked should help them produce more. The funny crooked one got hung up on the netting around the bean tipi. I wouldn’t have used any, but there are some sweet peas climbing it too. Maybe we’ll at least end up with enough to pickle some. Not surprisingly, that works best with really fresh ones.
