I’m sure I am just fucking projecting…. And I mean no offense to anyone….BUT I need to rant….
So much agreed, especially the part about Gale being a District 13 yes-man who didn’t question much about what he was doing. I’m already waiting to gag when I see the movie portray him as oh-so heroic in Mockingjay.
Why do I find discussions of these books way more interesting than the books themselves were?
Like I could barely stand to read the books. It was like pulling teeth. I did it out of compulsion, not out of enjoyment.
But the IDEA of the books always sounds wildly interesting. The characters interest me. The plot interests me. It’s the books I can’t stand.
And I’ve never had that reaction to books before so it’s weird.
