➸ Congressman Claims Widespread Fraud Because He Saw ‘Physically Fit’ Couple Use Food Stamps

Oklahoma congressman Markwayne Mullin says he witnessed food stamp fraud happen right before his eyes. Shocking! His evidence? The (ALLEGEDLEY!!11) poor people buying groceries were - wait for it - wearing NIKES and GYM CLOTHES. At some point they had enough money in their lives to buy workout gear, THEREFORE, not really poor. He proposes we cut the food stamp program entirely.

Remember, folks: If you’re fat, you aren’t really too poor to buy food, but if you’re svelte and own a pair of running shoes, you also aren’t too poor to buy food. Totally reasonable.
