Love the pictures, but whoever came up with the “library is a hospital for the mind” has never spent long periods in a hospital. Or a psychiatric institution for that matter.

Maybe this person has only been to private luxury hospitals? I mean seriously the difference between the public hospital I go to and the luxury hospitals my parents go to is absolutely absurd. But hey I see better docs because I go to the research hospital.

No idea.

My local hospital is a teaching hospital that’s fairly well thought of by everyone who hasn’t nearly been killed there? I mean some of the outpatient doctors are pretty good but inpatient just isn’t good, you’re lucky if you have a nice stay. The food is amazing but I was always there for GI issues and rarely got to eat it before I stopped eating altogether.

I’ve never been to a private luxury hospital. I know with mental hospitals the private ones (luxury or not) are sometimes worse than the public ones. But I don’t know what rules hold with physical hospitals.
