Fear and ignorance vs. useful information
GAH. I’m looking up rates/prevalence of various diseases (polio, smallpox, measles, etc.) for a work project. And GOOD GRIEF PEOPLE. I can hardly find anything about measles that isn’t linked to some “vaccine controversy” page. It is really REALLY annoying when fearmongering creates so much informational noise that it becomes difficult to find anything actually based on, you know, reality.
