But that it was already in the process of growing itself back from the parts that were left. This was a really powerful thing to see at a time in my life when I was dealing with incapacitating levels of PTSD and honestly wasn’t sure if I would or should live through it, let alone rebuild my life in some semblance of something good. Lots of trees are good at doing things like this.
