Mine was really protective about it, too. One time someone other than my then-partner tried to kiss me while my girlfriend was at work and my cat clawed the fuckin shit out of his leg— through Carhart work pants and everything. It was super awesome! It’s not protection. She’s trying to snuggle both of us at once. She spends a lot of time walking back and forth trying to get in snuggling time with both of us, or draping herself over both of our laps.
