The amount of attention that anti-autistic hate letter got… ummm

If the letter had been directed toward the autistic person himself (although I can see why it wasn’t since this sort of NT person doesn’t typically believe that autistic people understand when they’re being spoken to) and the autistic person posted it and complained about it, how much attention would they have gotten for it?

I’ve gotten actual outright death threats and people posting my address online.

Of course it depends who you are. When Ari Ne'eman started getting death threats and harassment ant defamation people rallied to his support and he got all this legal help and stuff.

I got very little help. I guess not being a big political figure I don’t matter as much? I’ve never figured it out. All I know is I felt very alone for a long time, which is exactly what my stalkers wanted. And there are still people willing to repeat the rumors as true, like… The moment you hear something bad about someone you don’t even know on the internet, you believe it? Although I know my stalkers played heavily on people’s desire to not be seen as gullible, to be in the know about everything. And that… made people gullible, I’m their search to avoid gullibility.

But when people actually for real solicited murderers, no help. I’m poor and can’t afford legal representation even if it would’ve helped. Ari has more resources and connections so he got more help. I have few resources or connections so I got less. Something horrible wrong with this picture.
