Healthy people always want me to find some magical cure and insist I just haven’t looked hard enough.

For a while I thought they were just ignorant.

But I’ve realized that they want it for themselves. For their own peace of mind. So they can reassure themselves that it’s fixable, that their life wouldn’t have to change, were it ever to happen to them.
