Does anyone remember a post I made

I could swear I made a post either here or on Ballastexistenz, about hope and false hope and how the existence of any given person doesn’t exist to give anyone either one of these things. But for the life of me I can’t find it. I was responding to ideas like “Temple Grandin gives people false hope.”

But multiple searches turn up absolutely nothing.
