My speech is not entirely reliable.
I need backup forms of communication.
I am ashamed of this.

I want to growl at everyone who has ever used the word out concept of appropriation in this context BECAUSE OF THIS EXACT SITUATION.
(That includes you, anyone who makes fun of “aspies who say written communication is their real voice”.)
