This goes back to how we all tell ourselves stories about the world. And in most of our stories, we are the good guy.

I sometimes get into other people’s heads. I don’t know how and I don’t know what I’m doing and…

Yes and violence of any kind has similar walls. And yes to all of that.

And it’s not that I think violence is always wrong or killing is always avoidable. But when they can be avoided without worse consequences? Absolutely.
