End of life care and disability/chronic illness are not actually the same issue.

Folks with chronic conditions are usually not near the end of their lives when they need medical care.

Yes that.

I’m still weirded out and terrified that in the minds of a lot of people a feeding tube == life support. I know what kind of danger that puts me in.

And yes. It’s extremely easy to kill me if someone wanted.

And I’m not terminally ill. But I’m precariously ill and some of my illnesses are severe.

Also some truly terminally ill people are pressured into dying sooner than an they have to. Or feel that they need to for fear of being a burden, even though they don’t want to.
