since halloween is next month i know theres going to be a bunch of screamers and sudden pop-ups

Also the adrenaline response in anyone with a bad startle response can result in really unpleasant things or even hours of incapacitation depending on how things are working that day. And in anyone with serious enough health problems that can be more then just uncomfortable.
