I don’t know if I’ve ever said it here on Tumblr, but I know I’ve said it on FB and offline, but yeah, Autistic people keep getting treated as less than animals.

Seriously, “debarking” as it’s commonly known, is extremely controversial when it comes to dogs.  But when they do it two an Autistic person (a freaking teenager nonetheless), people are totally fine with it, because omg, think of the poor parents!!1!  ‘Cause we’re Not Really People, dontcha know?

There are days when I just fucking can’t with allistic people, especially parents.  This would be one of those days.

They literally cut a child’s vocal cords.

It’s the exact thing they do to dogs.

To dogs.

SOME STATES HAVE BANNED THIS SURGERY ON DOGS.

BUT THEY DID THIS TO A CHILD.

How do we get someone’s license pulled?
