“I had a "friend” who I had told to stay away from me last year when he was sick. I explained CF to him and I guess he thought it wasn’t a big deal or something, but he went and purposely coughed in my face and laughed about it. I ended up very bad sick and in the hospital. He never apologized or asked how I was or anything. The kicker is thinks me and the rest of my friends still like him. I have to restrain from going off on him every single day. I wish he would leave.“

I have bronchiectasis. Someone tried that kind of crap on me too many times. I made sure she never got near me again. Not always possible but it’s totally your right.
