I see my primary doctor next week.
My case manager says the problem is that the doctor needs to write a letter saying that the feeding tube is a permanent solution to my gastroparesis.
And then, with any luck, everything should be fine.
Whether the government shutdown…
Yeah apparently the default when anyone gets a feeding tube implant is to assume temporary unless officially told otherwise in triplicate or something.
Which explains all those people who kept asking me how long before I got my tube out. “Uh…. Until I die?”
