Most male birds attract females with beautiful plumage, dances of shows of strength, not so the bowerbird.
Male bowerbirds construct their bowers from twigs and strange found objects beneath them usually arranged by colour. The colours and objects vary from beetle carapaces, flowers, leaves, fruit snail shells etc and each bower is unique.
