I have to admit, I get a kick out of it when the nurses and other medical practitioners ask if I have diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol and are surprised when the answer is no. Or when I’m someplace new and they take my blood pressure… They are always so shocked that a fat girl with family history like mine doesn’t have these things.
More amusing, my super fit, athletic brother is the one on cholesterol and blood pressure stuff.
