OMG I wrote an essay!

I can’t believe the sense of accomplishment. That was a hard essay in a very hard subject for me (literary analysis, basically). And I did it, with a really long time to spare, and everything. And without pulling any hair out.

I’ve enrolled in a MOOC class as my latest anti-delirium attempt to keep my mind active. And I love the subject but it’s so very much harder than anything I ever remember in any class I’ve ever taken ever. I’m out of practice and last year’s delirium has reduced my cognitive capacity by a fuckton, so this is some of the hardest intellectual work I’ve done in a long time. Maybe ever. Especially since I tend to suck at literature analysis type stuff even though I like reading the literature itself. And the assignment was so hard I never thought I’d be able to come up with a single word, and yet I came right up against the word limit in the end.

Wow.
