I don’t even LIKE vampires and that’s interesting.

I like a lot of stories in the vein of supernatural creatures trying to handle the everyday world though. Like Dead Like Me. But I don’t like things that are put in to be disgusting or for shock value, or any imagery that could turn up in a nightmare.

(I even had trouble with Buffy. That ceiling monster that ate crazy and cognitively disabled people OMG sometimes it still prevents me from sleeping because I get scared it’s up there waiting. I try to avoid things that will do that to me. Or also things where the story is ~dark and edgy and cynical~ for no good reason, or celebrates wildly unethical behavior or something.
