When being accused of being fake gets to you…
…because you’re sometimes (like everyone else on the planet) being fake in areas that have nothing whatsoever to do with the areas you’re being accused in! And you take yourself so damn seriously that every tiny bit of fake must be a horrible crime against humanity, and therefore when accused of faking in terrible ways, you deep down think it must be true, even though it isn’t, because you experience even being slightly fake as this huge horrible thing.
Does that make sense to anyone else?
Like I know perfectly well that what this guy said about the gastroparesis not being real, is nonsense. There’s just too much evidence to the contrary, and I’m far from the only person who’s seen it.
But since I’m not always perfectly 100% genuine in my interactions with the world, and am not always perfectly 100% honest with myself, then THAT MUST MEAN HE’S RIGHT!
I mean WTF? On paper that “logic” makes no sense. But it seems to make soooooooo much sense in my head. And so those accusations get under my skin.
