chronically–courageous: As horrible as my battle with chronic illness has been, sailing these rough seas has turned me into a person I never imagined I could be. Having to constantly readjust my sails and fight against the roaring water and winds, has made me stronger. There have been many times I’ve considered just jumping over board, but one quick glance at where the shore once stood and I know I cannot give up on all of my progress. I’ve come so far and even though I have a long way to go, I know I can do it…because this trial has made me stronger than I could have ever imagined.
