Also connected to why I don’t usually trigger warn
Because the thing that is the most triggering and dangerous to me isn’t people mentioning a thing or graphically describing a thing.
It’s people doing a certain thing. A certain pattern of interaction that is dangerous to me. And that can suck me in really easily.
There are these tunnels in my mind people can get into if I engage with that sort of thing too far. Places I’m not healed from.
And it’s impossible to warn for. Generally speaking, I mean. I actually do try to warn for that particular thing if I’m reblogging it for some reason. But most people won’t and I can’t warn for it if I can’t see it and it’s when I can’t see it that it’s the most dangerous.
And I just - can’t say my blog is safe or can’t safely put myself into a state of mind where I think danger comes from being graphic about things that hurt people. Even though those things can be dangerous to people. That’s a real thing. But…
Argh I don’t know how to to explain
Yeah it’s the same reason I don’t.
Well I sometimes do in the tags but I don’t as a matter of course or anything.
And it’s the exact same reason.
PLUS the people most likely to trigger me not just CAN’T warn for it. They WON’T. Because they are TRYING to upset me or behave in a nasty way in general.
