I love that one of my best friends
- Is ten years older than me
- Is married with two kids
- Lives on the other side of the country
- Has never met me in real life
but yet we text and talk about everything and cheer one another up and roleplay and talk about Serious Issues and…
My closest friend is the same way only we aren’t sure if we’ve ever met in real life. We know we were in the same room within minutes of each other at most though. But we didn’t know each other back then so not sure if it counts. And it’s absolutely amazing and one of the best friendships I’ve ever had, and the most intimate (I don’t mean sexual/romantic intimacy).
