Adopting is good! Hey, if you want to get a rat, check petfinder and/or local shelters first. You can also check craigslist for rats who need homes.
Sometimes people’s rats have babies unexpectedly - and they need homes too!
(Also, please keep your rats separated by sex or spayed nutered. Otherwise you can quickly end up with a dozen babies.)
