A public service announcement from your slightly surly sleep-deprived transit rider…
People! PLEASE do not smoke your pot, or anything else for that matter, at the bus/train station. There are limited options in such places for positioning onesself, if one wants to actually be able to board the transit vehicle when it arrives. I’m not going to call the cops on you, but good grief. I am already sleep-deprived, and a contact high isn’t likely to be beneficial to my ability to brain all the way home. :(
EDIT: it also occurs to me that it is frankly incredibly invasive to inflict one’s own preferred mind-altering substances on others without their consent. And it bugs the crap out of me that it’s so difficult to point out problems like that without it being assumed that you’re just being a prude or that you’re “the man” or whatnot. Ugh.
