Like people who think guardianship and institutionalization only happens to people who can’t talk. People who think they’re safe.
“They hate you yes you” is an important piece.
Those things all happened to me when I could talk. I was never put up for guardianship, but I did have a shrink who basically decided that I wasn’t and would never be an adult and attempted to manipulate my entire life on that basis. I think if I’d stayed with him he might have attempted to get my parents to file for guardianship if nothing else worked.
