Pictures from my loooooooooooooong ambulance ride today. No emergency, just transported to another state in order to get treatment because the guy in my state who could do the surgery, left the state.

So on Monday I will be getting surgery. It’s nothing huge. Just they will be taking my butt battery and moving it deeper into my butt. This is because I lost fifty pounds this year and that left the battery so near the surface of my butt, that its painful to sit on it and leads to very easy problems with pressure sore type things.

Also today they catheterised me to get a urine sample. And despite the pain, I found it amazing because even with the Interstim I sometimes can’t get my bladder all the way empty.

The hospital both looks different and seems different in how people treat you, from the hospital where I live. I’ve been told that by many people who’ve been to both. They seemed really nice and really trying hard to get everything right. But the hospital looks like an airport terminal, I swear. It’s huge. And the moment I mentioned the airport thing, this guy walked past, dragging a luggage on wheels! Not kidding.
