kittens and books and books and kittens!
I don’t know why but I’ve always tended to associate cats with books and libraries. They just seem like they complement each other well, even though (as far as I know) cats don’t really read much.
Ever heard of the book “Dewey?” About a small kitten in rural Iowa who is rescued by a librarian and then lives in the library for 19 years.
Author is Vicki Myron. Great book. You may need a box of tissues for the last two chapters.
this reminds me of the good parts of being 8 years old
