Also, remember how I mentioned some of our caseworkers are the same age as us? I found out I’m a year older than mine today. Hopefully she’ll drop the preschool teacher voice now.
Yeah I’m right at the age where a lot of the staff people who work for me are suddenly a fair bit younger than me, in their young twenties. And it’s weird. It completely changes certain aspects of the dynamic between us. It weirded me out at first they used to all be older than me or sometimes the same age. But fortunately most of them know better than to treat me like I’m younger than them. (The ones that do, grrrrrr.)
