My dog is gone.

We have two dogs. We went to the store, gone for about an hour, like we’ve done almost every day for four years. We came home, gate was latched, one dog inside.

We’ve asked all the neighbors, gone searching all over, posted ads on CL and animal control. My husband thinks someone stole him from our yard. I think he may be right.

Satchel is the sweetest, friendliest dog I’ve ever had, and I grew up with dogs. He is always wagging his tail. He cuddled with me when I felt alone and helped me recover from anxiety attacks, just by staring at his happy, cute face.

I will very likely never see him again. My heart is broken. I’m gonna go lay in bed and cry now.
