clatterbane: snail-child: Guys, meet Humbug. He is an orphaned kitty who is currently under my care at the vet that I work at. He is 3 weeks old and along with his brother Butterscotch and his sister Licorice, will be going up for adoption around 2 months. Humbug is the runt and at 3 weeks old, he’s still smaller than my palm, but he loves to eat and I think he’ll grow up big and strong.  And I’m reminded again that Mirrors and his (missing) sister weren’t much older than this tiny baby when we brought them home. I figured that if those people were trying to get rid of kittens so young, claiming they were older by several weeks, we could at least take decent care of them. :-|
