Just my opinion but why isn’t opal a giant thing :? You also get crazy variations like the Lightning Ridge Black Opal….

Even this fucking…

I love opals and have never understood the appeal of diamonds. Nor do I understand why some things are considered really amazing and other things truly amazing are overlooked.
